Sausage & Potato Foil Packet (Page 3 ) | October 4, 2023
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a bowl, combine the sliced sausage, potatoes, carrots (if using), and sliced onion.
3. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the Italian seasoning, dried basil, dried parsley, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
5. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the sausage and potato mixture, and gently toss again to ensure even distribution.
6. Cut four pieces of aluminum foil, each about 12 inches in length.
7. Divide the sausage and potato mixture equally among the four foil pieces, placing it in the center of each piece.
8. Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and distribute it evenly over the sausage and potato mixture on each foil.
9. Fold the sides of the foil over the mixture to create a packet, sealing the edges tightly.
