Can I put raw ground beef in my slow cooker?

Technically you can! Honestly, I recommend browning your beef first as it gives so much added flavor that you will miss out on if you just throw it in raw!

Want to make a lighter version? simply swap out the ground beef for a leaner meat like ground turkey or even chicken.
