The bathroom is one of the rooms that everyone cleans at least once a day, especially when there are a lot of people in the house. On the other hand, it cannot be done any other way because germs and bacteria proliferate and cause bad smells and much more.

However, there are still areas that are not properly cleaned, sometimes stained, impossible to return to white or the original colour, other times smelly. It is not necessary to commit to a thousand products and a lot of effort, the result will probably always be the same.

Buying strong and aggressive products is not the right choice, in fact it may be the wrong choice. These products are not only bad for your health, but in the long run they end up ruining your bathroom furniture, even if they do not remove the stains.

Here are some common bathroom stains.

Among the stains that are difficult to remove, there is the mould that usually appears in the corners of the shower and in the joints of the floor. Then there are those that form on the base of the toilet and in general on all sanitary ware.  In particular, there is the very annoying black circle  . This happens above all because when you go to clean the bathroom you focus mainly on the surface and the inside, neglecting some parts, which then turn yellow or even black.

When you notice that the base of your toilet bowl is about to turn black, it is best to act immediately  without wasting any more time,  because it is most likely a build-up of dirt, which could also hide mould. Which is dangerous.

Mold or dirt gets trapped at the base of the toilet, because silicone is often applied there to make the bowl stick to the floor. To prevent mold from forming around the silicone over time, it is a good idea to clean it carefully every time you wash the toilet, taking care not to use abrasive products. These could loosen the silicone completely  or partially, causing serious problems later on. 

Some miracle products

To remove black stains from the base of the toilet,  you can use many products that we have at home,  one of these is alcohol vinegar, which can remove mold or limescale, the same goes for other sanitary fixtures, including the shower.

All you have to do is pour a cup of vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the product  directly onto the encrusted or mouldy area  . The solution should act for at least an hour, after which you can remove all dirt or mould with a toothbrush and then rinse with a cloth that has been wrung out as much as possible.

Along with alcohol vinegar, there is bicarbonate, which unlike vinegar can also be used on floors,  especially if they are made of stone or marble.  First, prepare a thick paste, using bicarbonate and water. Then spread this paste over the bathroom fixtures,  let it sit, rub it and finally rinse it  to remove all residue.
