2. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water and 1 cup of ice cubes; continue stirring until the ice melts.
Third, chill the Jello mixture in the fridge for twenty to thirty minutes, or until it reaches the thickness of raw egg whites.
Using a whisk or an electric mixer, beat the Jello until it becomes foamy, after it has thickened.
5. Incorporate 1 cup of whipped cream or topping into the mixture until well combined.
Refrigerate for at least two to three hours, or overnight, or until the mixture is stiff, then transfer to a serving plate or individual cups.
7. Chill and serve with more whipped cream or fruit over top, if preferred.
Changes and Hints
Use flavored whipped creams, such berry or coconut, to give this traditional dish a new spin. To enhance the texture of your serving plate, try layering crushed cookies or vanilla sponge cake at the base before adding the Jello whip. Add some holiday cheer by layering several Jello flavors and waiting for each one to set before adding the next.
