My Southern grandma handed down this sticky bun recipe, and it is been a circle of relatives favored since! (Page 2 ) | November 9, 2023
For dough:
One cup of milk warmed to approximately 95°F.
2/3 cup of granulated sugar.
2 packets of instant yeast.
1/2 cup (equivalent to 1 stick) of unsalted butter, softened and cut into pieces.
Two large eggs.
Half a teaspoon of salt.
4 to 4 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, with additional for dusting.
For filling:
1/4 cup of softened unsalted butter.
Half a cup of firmly packed dark brown sugar.
2 tsp of ground cinnamon.
For topping:
3/four cups of firmly packed mild brown sugar.
1/4 cup of unsalted butter.
1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup.
1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans.
