The NNLB, otherwise known as the National News Licensing Board has seen enough. What happened during the Trump/ Harris debate was a bridge too far. The NNLB grants news licenses to networks. And the NNLB is seriously considering yanking ABC’s News License.
The NNLB is an organization older than television itself. They monitored the newspapers and newsreels shown in theaters in the 1920s to ensure fairness in the news media. They are a governmental agency that is charged with granting and renewing news licenses.
