- Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Melt chocolate: Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly before folding it into the cheesecake mixture.
- Combine: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
Step 3: Prepare the Mint Cheesecake Layer
- Beat cream cheese & sugar: In another mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Add peppermint extract and food coloring: Stir in the peppermint extract and green food coloring.
- Combine: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mint mixture until fully incorporated.
Step 4: Create the Zebra Pattern
- Alternate layers: Pour a spoonful of chocolate cheesecake mixture into the center of the crust, followed by a spoonful of mint cheesecake mixture directly on top. Continue alternating until all the filling is used, allowing it to spread naturally.
- Smooth the top: Lightly tap the pan on the counter to remove air bubbles.
Step 5: Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate: Cover and chill for at least 6 hours or overnight for the best texture.
