Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Add butter to a large pot over medium heat.
- Once the butter is completely melted, add the flour to the pot.
- Stir until butter and flour are completely combined.
- Cook the butter and flour mixture for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- After 4 minutes, pour the condensed beef broth into the pot and whisk well.
- Add the heavy cream to the pot and whisk again.
- Add the salt, pepper, parsley flakes and Worcestershire sauce and whisk one last time.
- Add the frozen meatballs to the pot.
- Stir until all of the meatballs are coated in sauce.
- Leave the meatballs to simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 6 minutes, dump the meatball and sauce mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the meatballs out into a single layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the meatballs.
- Place the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake the casserole until it’s bubbling and the tater tots are browning. 36-40 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and leave it to sit for 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
- Serve and enjoy!
