Another effective natural spider repellent is to mix 5 drops of clove essential oil and 5 drops of liquid soap with a little water. Mix the ingredients well and then pour it into a spray bottle. Mix together then spray the places where spiders thrive, such as your window, deck or garden.

First, test the solution on an inconspicuous area, such as a small section of upholstery, before using it on larger areas. In fact, oils are likely to stain surfaces.

They are all safe alternatives to commercial insecticides that also have the benefit of making our interiors smell nice!
