Air Fryer Fried Egg Sandwich (Page 2 ) | August 5, 2024

Ingredients:
White bread or sourdough bread
White American cheese slices
Yellow American cheese slices
Sweet Ham deli sliced
Large Eggs
Melted Butter
Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
Instructions:
Assemble the Sandwich:
Place one slice of white American cheese on one side of the bread and one slice of yellow American cheese on the opposite slice.
Top each side with a thin piece of honey ham.
Have the sandwiches assembled and ready to go.
Prepare the Eggs:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Crack one egg into a small bowl or ramekin and season with a pinch of kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper.
Gently add one seasoned egg to the air fryer basket for each sandwich. Be careful not to overcook. You can make small divots in the cheese to hold the eggs in place if needed.
Air Fry:
Brush each side of the sandwich with melted butter.
Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-6 minutes, or until the bottom of the sandwich is browned.
Carefully flip the sandwiches and air fry for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until the other side is browned and the cheese is gooey and melted.
Serve:
Once the sandwiches are cooked to your desired crispness and the cheese is melted, carefully remove them from the air fryer.
Bring both sides of the sandwich together. Do not press down too hard, as you want to keep the yolk intact.
Now you have a delicious fried egg sandwich made in the air fryer. Enjoy!
