In a pan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
Add the crab meat to the pan and sauté briefly until heated through.
Add the cream and mix everything well. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce gently until it thickens slightly. Stir occasionally.
Add the cooked spaghetti to the crab cream sauce in the pan and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, you can add some of the spaghetti’s reserved cooking water to reach the desired consistency.
Stir in the chopped parsley and season the pasta with salt and pepper.
Divide the spaghetti with crab cream onto plates and sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
