Human remains linked to missing UK teen Jay Slater have been found in Tenerife, nearly four weeks after his disappearance. The 19-year-old from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, went missing following a night out.The Spanish Civil Guard confirmed that evidence strongly suggests the remains are Jay’s.

The charity urged the public to respect the family’s need for privacy during this distressing time.A friend, Brad Hargreaves, paid an emotional tribute, expressing his sorrow and saying that nothing will be the same without Jay. The Guardia Civil noted the discovery in the Masca area, an extremely inaccessible location. Despite suspending the large-scale search on June 29, efforts continued whenever possible.
