Advertisement:Baking soda is abrasive enough to remove dirt without scratching the floor. Mixing it with alcohol and Marseille soap makes a perfect detergent for marble grit floors.
Mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 10 tablespoons of alcohol and 1 tablespoon of liquid Marseille soap.
Once you have a smooth mixture, soak a cloth in it and wipe it all over the floor. After about 5 minutes, rinse with a cloth soaked in warm water and well wrung out.
Repeat the application several times until the floor is completely shiny.

This remedy is as simple as it is effective. Just pour 5 tablespoons of denatured alcohol into a bucket full of lukewarm water, and use the solution to clean the floor normally.
No rinsing will be necessary.
