Keep on stirring until all of the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
4th Step
While stirring constantly, gradually add the unsweetened applesauce to the wet mixture, and continue to whisk until everything is well incorporated. While stirring constantly, gradually add the dry ingredient combination to the wet ingredient mixture. Stir until everything is just blended. If you want a soft cake, be cautious not to overmix the batter.
