When someone has a birthday, it is certainly a cause for celebration. Especially if it’s a big milestone like a first birthday, 21st, or 50th. On the special day, family and friends often go out of their way to spoil the birthday boy or girl. It can be a party, a small gathering, nice gifts, or even a nice card or phone call.

So when this man turned 50, he decided to celebrate with a room full of loved ones. And while the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and fun, someone was still missing. You see, the birthday boy’s son couldn’t make it to the party because he was a deployed soldier. For this reason, his son created a very special video message for his father. So the guests gathered to see the chilling images.

When his son appeared on the TV screen, the man began to cry. His heart was sad because, despite the pride she felt in his son honoring his country, she could not spend his birthday with him. When suddenly, his son walks through the door.

Needless to say, the father’s tears began to stream further down his face as he expressed his utter happiness. She was able to give her beloved son a big hug and spend the rest of the night with someone she truly missed. The event made all the guests euphoric and they continued to celebrate the big day, with everyone who really mattered.
